In 1950, Mr. Feng Shaoqiu, known as the ‘Father of Chinese Black Tea’, served as the first factory director. The new techniques he established at the Hankou Tea Factory, such as "meticulous extraction and elaborate processing" and "lifting and blending", advanced the processing of Chinese congou black tea to a new historical stage. To this day, these methods remain the main principles for processing Chinese congou black tea. It can be said that the brand of the ‘Hankou Tea Factory’ embodies the craftsmanship spirit of the first generation of Chinese tea masters represented by Mr. Feng Shaoqiu and the glorious development history of Chinese black tea.
