Hubei Tea Group Co., Ltd. was established in 2017. It is a directly subordinate enterprise of Hubei Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, a key provincial-level leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, and the chairman unit of Hubei Tea Association. Its predecessor was Central South Region Company of China Tea Company founded in 1950. Having been deeply engaged in the tea industry for more than 70 years, the Group has always been committed, as a provincial-level professional tea enterprise, to laying a solid foundation for the production, processing, domestic and foreign trade operations of Hubei tea.

The Group is a comprehensive tea enterprise covering the entire industrial chain of tea planting, production and processing, R&D and sales, integration of tea industry and tourism, exhibition services, and cultural promotion. It has a registered capital of 150 million yuan（21 million $US around） and owns 9 core member enterprises. In key tea-producing areas such as Enshi, Yichang, and Xianning, it has deployed a number of refined and primary processing plants and raw material bases, with self-built and co-built tea gardens covering an area of over 200,000 mu(133.33 square kilometers). It is a key core enterprise in Hubei's tea industry chain and one of the first authorized enterprises of "CHUTIANHAO" Tea (Hubei Quality Tea).
