At 4:51 am on January 18th, the 85552 freight train carrying 60000 pounds of Enshi green tea slowly departed from Enshi Station on the Yiwan Railway, and will then transfer to the China Europe train to travel abroad to Central Asia. This is the first time Enshi green tea has taken the train for export.

The Enshi green tea exported in this batch comes from Xuan'en Yihonggong Tea Co., Ltd., the foreign trade base of Hubei Tea Group. Xuan'en Yihong Company is located in Xuan'en Industrial Park, Enshi Prefecture. It is a tea production and processing enterprise that integrates initial tea production and precision processing. Its main products are refined export black tea and Zhenmei tea, and it is an export tea order manufacturer for multiple tea enterprises in China (Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang, Anhui, etc.).

The person in charge of Xuan'en Yihong Company introduced that Enshi Prefecture is located in the southwest of Hubei Province, at the intersection of Hubei, Hunan, and Chongqing provinces (cities), and is known as the "World Selenium Capital". Due to the high content of essential selenium in the tea produced locally, it is increasingly favored by domestic and foreign consumers. In recent years, the "green, organic, and selenium rich" tea industry has become an important pillar for Enshi's development of foreign economy. Enshi's exported green tea is loved by many Central Asian countries for its excellent quality and affordable price.
It is reported that the amount of tea exported by Yihonggong Tea Company to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries has been increasing year by year. As of 2021, the export volume has reached 25% of the import volume of Hubei green tea in these two countries. This batch of 60000 kilograms of green tea is the first shipment of the new year's order. Subsequently, based on the train schedule, four batches of Enshi green tea totaling 210000 kilograms will be exported in the first quarter of this year.
In 2022, focusing on the strategic goals of the tea industry chain and the construction of a large supply and marketing tea merchant in Hubei Province, Hubei Tea Group will continue to expand domestic and international markets, solidly promote domestic and foreign trade business. The "good start" orders of the Xuan'en Foreign Trade Base in the new year have laid a good foundation for the smooth development of foreign trade export business throughout the year.
