Export quantity increased by 10% year-on-year
At around 10:00 on February 24th, the China Europe train carrying 110000 pounds of Enshi green tea departed from Yichang Railway Station and headed to Central Asia. This is Xuan'en Yihong Gongcha Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Xuan'en Yihong Company"), a member enterprise of Hubei Tea Group, which has exported tea to Central Asia for the first time this year, with a year-on-year increase of 10% in export quantity.
Starting from February 15th, in order to deliver according to the contract period, workers in the storage and packaging workshops of Xuan'en Yihong Company are busy and orderly packaging, packing, loading, and transporting tea leaves. Transport by road to Yichang Railway Freight Yard and wait for the departure of the "China Europe Express". The wagons loaded with tea will be sent to Central Asia along the "the Belt and Road" by railway, and then to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, after passing through the Alashankou port.
Continuously improving the export capacity of tea
Enshi Prefecture is located at the intersection of Hubei, Hunan, and Chongqing, and is known as the "Selenium Capital of the World". Due to the high content of essential selenium in the tea produced locally, it is increasingly favored by domestic and foreign consumers. In recent years, the "green, organic, and selenium rich" tea industry has become an important pillar for Enshi's development of foreign economy. Enshi green tea is favored by Central Asian countries due to its excellent quality and affordable price.
It is reported that since the official launch of the bulk tea export business in 2016, Xuanen Yihong Company has relied on high-quality natural resources in Enshi to build a 5000 ton refined tea production line, and has obtained relevant certifications such as "Tea Export Base Certification", "SGS Certification", "ISO22000 Food Safety Management System Certification", etc., to safeguard product quality. As a foreign trade base of Hubei Tea Group, in recent years, the company has been deeply cultivating the Central Asian market, strengthening base construction, enhancing brand cultivation on the basis of advantageous red and green tea industries, and continuously improving tea export capabilities. The export volume has reached one fourth of the import volume of Hubei green tea from Central Asia.
Expand the global "circle of friends" of Hubei tea
